Frequently Asked Questions
How does Storm prevent cheating?
Server-side detections (entities, explosions, weapons, tokens) plus client sensors. Panel Ban/Kick/Screenshot applies 1:1 on Live detections. Heuristic Ban/Kick needs 3 hits within 120s. Garage/hospital false bans are blocked by join grace, soft zones (origin+destination), and ambient entity skip. FX 1.3.19+.
Will Storm slow down my server?
Checks run on intervals and cooldowns. Screenshot capture uses screenshot-basic in memory — it does not write to disk.
Is Storm easy to install?
Drop the resource, ensure oxmysql + screenshot-basic, set storm_api_url and storm_license_key. Panel Download page has the exact cfg.
Does it work with my scripts?
QBCore / Qbox hooks, ox_inventory trusted resources, and Addon Center for private Lua. TokenIV covers protected events you enable.
